Daniele Faccio joined Heriot-Watt University in 2010. He is a Professor in Physics, adjunct professor at the University of Arizona, Tucson (USA) and was elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 2017. He has been visiting scientist at MIT (USA), Marie-Curie fellow at ICFO, Barcelona (Spain) and ERC fellow since 2012. He was awarded the Philip Leverhulme Prize in Physics in 2015 and the Royal Society of Edinburgh Senior Public Engagement medal in 2017.
